Our mission is to cultivate a welcoming and tight-knit community within our beautiful village. We are dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging, where each resident is heard, respected, valued and supported. We strive to maintain our suburban quality of life, safeguard our distinctive character and treasure our traditions, while also adding positive enhancements to the village and embracing the different needs of our residents. Through shared experiences, open communication, and mutual respect, we aim to create a secure and vibrant community that stands united.
As the Community Agreement Party (CAP) candidates, we are proud to be running for Village Trustees. Together, we bring you experience, commitment, open mindedness, and fresh ideas to the Board. We are independent thinkers who believe that all viewpoints and residents should be respected and listened to. We are committed to working hand in hand with all residents and village departments.

About Jessica Tai
Message from me
As a busy working mom, I was initially unfamiliar with town politics. Then I realized significant events were unfolding, and many, including myself, were unaware. Proactively participating in village Board of Trustees meetings, I bring crucial town developments to the forefront, ensuring residents stay informed about the latest happenings in our community.

My decision to run stems from my belief in transparency, respect and collaboration. I envision the village as a valuable source of knowledge, expertise and coordination. It should treat its residents with respect and continuously seek solutions for improvements. I reject the idea of local government serving as a truth bureau, as it could lead to the suppression of speech and the unfair labeling of differing perspectives as misinformation. I am committed to respecting, listening to and working with everyone for the best interest of Garden City.

I have lived in different places and have chosen this beautiful village to establish deep roots for my family. I appreciate the beauty and values of this town. As a young family, I am deeply invested in the village's future. As a dedicated educator and a mother of two, I understand what families need because I live and breathe it daily. I am dedicated to continuing the village's legacy and implementing positive enhancements. Thank you for your support!
